I will go there again when I travel to Paris in the future. With a few 5-star experience, I will say Kei stands out with surprises (good way, of course). Serving that made you amazed... like you can make the food this way, and it is so tasty. The services were excellent. The only thing if I had to pick on them was too little decorations on the plate, but the combination of the natural foods color is also beautiful too.
High expectations met. Kei offered us a top culinary experience, every dish was just perfect, delicious and masterfully executed. The staff was always helpful and in the best disposition to guide us through the journey. Bravo! One of the best dinner experiences we have enjoyed ever.
Perfect. I’ve been waiting for a while to finally check this place out. I was not disappointed. Food is great, with influence from Japan and Basque Country which I love. Very original tastes. Service is highly attentive and dedicated. Everything was perfect in my opinion, they deserve the 3 stars. Will definitely come back again.
A surreal experience, the thought and detail into everything not just the food. I had an emotional reaction to the Wagyu. 10/10
Very nice staff. We’re still talking about the red Sancerre from Loire the next day - it paired well with everything on the Horizon menu sans the desserts. A couple of the dishes were extremely well done and overall the food was good. Some of their dishes were a bit of a mess - most notably the salads. Recommend the private room for a unique experience.
We came to celebrate and wanted to try a three star restaurant in Paris. Overall an ok experience but hindered by a couple hiccups throughout the night. First the restaurant is newly renovated and pristine on entry. We were seated and promptly “offered” to start with a glass of champagne for each of us. I say this in quotes as it’s not a glass on the house, it’s a €40-50/glass charge, which was a bit unexpected when we got the check. Most high end restaurants that offer to start the meal with canapés or champagne generally don’t charge for this, especially since the menus had not been offered yet (perhaps that’s a cultural difference). Next, the server forgot we had an allergy at the table despite multiple emails communicating this during the reservation process, but this was fixed pretty quickly before the meal started. Going through the courses, the food is good but not mind blowing. The salad is indeed delightful but the other dishes are pretty standard French cooking fares with a hint of Asian influence. The servers were kind but dinner service lasted from 7:45 to after 11. There was 7 courses and there were stretches when there weren’t any food on the table for 20+ minutes between courses. In the end, it’s not worth the steep price after everything’s said and done. However if price and time isn’t an issue, this would probably be a lovely place.
Lovely experience. The food (especially the signature salad) was great with hints of Asian influences. The sommelier was friendly and able to find a great alternative for the type of wine we like
Service overall was so welcoming, professional and friendly. My wife is a pescatarian and the server came back 3x to ensure the alternative suggested by the chef worked. We didn’t need to repeat that we didn’t speak French to all servers (it seemed to be communicated already) which was different from a 2-star restaurant we dined at earlier in our trip
Absolutely amazing; the highlights are definitely:
The salad, with all the sauces mixed together;
The wagyu (worth the additional 45€), beat meat I’ve ever tried and cooked to perfection, it melts in your mount;
The Gorgonzola and nuts jam, promises nothing delivers everything;
The apple desert, and I don’t even like apples.
Only downside is the price of the wines…
